This was my attitude. I moved to Spain from Texas. We kept in touch every couple of months with multiple hour long conversations. Didn’t think anything had changed. Best friend for almost 12 years. She finds a boyfriend, gets engaged, asks these new friends to be her bridesmaids. Doesn’t bring up the subject to me…I go back to Texas to visit and I have to finally ask if I didn’t make the cut…sure didn’t but I got an invite 🙂👍🏻

Omg these comments are so weird and toxic… like it’s genuinely such a blessing to have such a good relationship with your friends where you can not see each other due to how busy life can get and then pick back up where you left off.
