The real glow-up isn’t one product, one workout, or one good week. It’s the habits you build and repeat. Here are 10 healthy glow up habits I’m taking more seriously after 40. ✨ 1. STRENGTH TRAINING I’m prioritizing building muscle, not just losing weight. Strength training helps maintain muscle, bone health, and functional strength as we age. 2. EATING ENOUGH PROTEIN This was a big lesson for me! I wasn’t always paying attention to my protein intake. Now I plan meals around protein to support muscle growth and recovery. 3. WALKING CONSISTENTLY My personal goal is at least 8,000 steps daily. Walking helps me stay active without needing an intense workout every day. Start where you are and build gradually. 4. PRIORITIZING MY SKINCARE Tretinoin, azelaic acid, vitamin C, hydration, and daily sunscreen are part of my skincare approach. Consistency matters more than constantly switching products. 5. TAKING SLEEP SERIOUSLY I’m prioritizing a consistent sleep schedule and enough recovery. I try to aim for at least 6-7 hours. This one is tough! 6. IMPROVING MY MOBILITY I’m adding regular mobility work, especially for my hips and overall flexibility. Strength is important, but I also want to move comfortably as I get older. 7. EATING MORE WHOLE FOODS Protein matters, but so do fiber, fruits, vegetables, and balanced meals. I’m working on nourishing my body instead of focusing only on calories. 8. STAYING HYDRATED I keep water nearby and pay attention to my hydration, especially on training days. I am also big on adding electrolytes to my water. 9. INVESTING IN MYSELF My health, personal goals, education, and financial independence deserve time, too. I’m learning to make room for myself while still showing up for my family. 10. VISUALIZING WHO I’M BECOMING I practice visualization, but I’m also learning to connect my vision to daily action. I ask myself: What would the woman I’m becoming do today? MY BIGGEST LESSON? You don’t need to change everything overnight. Pick a few habits, make them realistic, and build from there. 🥰 SAVE these 10 habits for your next glow-up chapter. Which habit are you already doing, and which one do you need to work on? #creatorsearchinsights #glowuptipsforwomenover40 #womenover40 #glowuptips #fitover40
