But Jack Martin was actually a pseudonym for horror writer Dennis Etchison. Etchison's version adds material you won't find in the theatrical movie, including expanded scenes involving Laurie Strode and the reporters covering the murders. Published by Zebra Books, this vintage paperback is now out of print. Zebra became a familiar name among horror paperback collectors during the 1980s.
