redemption, (age dissonance? what), complex, trauma, second chance, misinderstood, sentimental???, self improving. All this can be narrowed down to getting a second chance, messing up and recovering. It’s really not ’complex’ character writing. Rudeus had so much he could learn and develop after getting a chance at life but instead he spends his entirety of the series lusting and m*lesting women. If you think this is masterclass writing you need to get of internet and really think it through.
