@vertuz44: The player most commonly associated with PSG and the name "Hakim" is Achraf Hakimi, the Moroccan right-back. There is also Hakim Ziyech, another Moroccan international, who was heavily linked with a move to PSG but never actually joined the club. Below is the biography for Achraf Hakimi, followed by a brief note on the Ziyech confusion. --- Achraf Hakimi: Paris Saint-Germain and Morocco Achraf Hakimi is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Morocco national team. Renowned for his exceptional pace, attacking runs, and tactical versatility, he is widely regarded as one of the best full-backs in world football. Early Life and Real Madrid Academy Hakimi was born on November 4, 1998, in Madrid, Spain, to Moroccan parents who had emigrated in search of a better future . Growing up in Getafe, he developed his game on the streets before joining the Real Madrid youth academy at just eight years old in 2006 . He progressed through the ranks at Valdebebas, earning a reputation as a dynamic and hardworking prospect. Professional Breakthrough Hakimi made his first-team debut for Real Madrid in 2017 under manager Zinedine Zidane, who trusted the young defender to step up to the senior level . During the 2017/18 season, he made nine La Liga appearances and scored two goals, also featuring in the Copa del Rey, Champions League, and Club World Cup . Seeking regular playing time, Hakimi was loaned to Borussia Dortmund for two seasons (2018–2020). In Germany, he flourished under Lucien Favre, establishing himself as one of Europe's most explosive attacking full-backs. Over 73 Bundesliga appearances, he scored 12 goals and provided 17 assists . His performances convinced Inter Milan to sign him permanently in 2020. In his single season in Italy, he helped Inter win the Serie A title . Paris Saint-Germain In July 2021, Hakimi joined Paris Saint-Germain in a transfer worth approximately €60 million, making him one of the most expensive defenders in history . He quickly became a cornerstone of the PSG project, forming potent attacking partnerships with players such as Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, and later Ousmane Dembélé . As of 2025, Hakimi had made over 170 appearances for PSG, scoring 25 goals and registering 35 assists . He has also worn the captain's armband and established himself as a leader within the squad. His performances in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, including a standout display against his former club Real Madrid in the semi-final, further cemented his status as a key player at the highest level . International Career Hakimi represents Morocco at international level and has earned over 100 caps, scoring 12 goals . He was a pivotal figure in Morocco's historic run to the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where the Atlas Lions became the first African nation to reach that stage. Playing Style Hakimi is celebrated for his blistering acceleration, stamina, and crossing ability. Originally a winger in his youth, he possesses excellent technical skills and contributes significantly to his team's attack while remaining reliable defensively. His ability to cover the entire right flank makes him indispensable in modern high-pressing systems. --- Note on "Hakim" and PSG: If you were referring to Hakim Ziyech (the former Ajax and Chelsea winger), he was close to joining PSG on loan in January 2023, but the move collapsed due to administrative issues with the paperwork submitted by Chelsea . Ziyech never played for PSG and is not part of their current squad. #coyg #football #fyp #hakimi #messi
