@regulatedsoulsanctuary: What are you most grateful for today? Today, I am most grateful that I get to be a caregiver for my 87-year-old mama. As she walks through one of the scariest and most difficult seasons of her life, I am grateful that I can be right here beside her, spending my time loving her, caring for her, and helping her through it. It's not always easy. There are moments of fear, uncertainty, and so many emotions. But being able to show up for her, to hold her hand, and to give her the love and care she needs is something I will never take for granted. Sometimes gratitude isn't about the easy or beautiful moments. Sometimes it's about being given the opportunity to love someone through the hardest ones.
