Choking can become a life-threatening emergency within seconds. Knowing the correct First-Aid Techniques and acting quickly can help protect your baby's life. Back Blows - Place your baby face-down along your forearm, supporting their head and keeping it lower than their body. Deliver 5 firm Back Blows between the shoulder blades using the heel of your hand. Chest Thrusts - If the blockage remains, carefully turn your baby face-up while supporting their head. Give 5 quick Chest Thrusts in the centre of the chest, just below the nipple line. Emergency Response - If your baby is still choking, continue alternating 5 Back Blows and 5 Chest Thrusts, and ensure Emergency Medical Help is called immediately. ▲ Important Safety Reminder - Never perform blind finger sweeps or Abdominal Thrusts on infants. → Remember, the right First-Aid Knowledge and immediate action can make a life-saving difference during a choking emergency.
