@user899874308: 🌸🤎 SLOW-DOWN SATURDAY — THE CHORES CAN WAIT A LITTLE WHILE! ☀️🌷 Good morning, Sisters! Well, it’s SATURDAY! And I’ve got a question for y’all! 😂 Does anybody else remember when Saturday mornings had their own special feeling? The windows were open, the birds were singing, and Mama already had a load of clothes washing before everybody else rolled out of bed! Somebody was sweeping the porch. Somebody was asking what was for breakfast. And somebody was trying mighty hard to disappear before Mama started handing out chores! 😂🤣 Oh, those were the days! But you know what I’ve been thinking? Somewhere along the way, we women got awfully good at turning every Saturday into another workday! We make our lists. We start cleaning. We tackle everything we didn’t finish during the week. And before we know it, Saturday is gone, and we’re wondering where our weekend went! Sisters, can I remind you of something? You are allowed to enjoy the life God has given you, even when there’s still work to be done! 🤎 That basket of laundry isn’t going anywhere. Those dishes will still be there after breakfast. And I promise, the dust on that furniture isn’t going to pack its bags and leave just because you sat down for a little while! 😂 📖 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV There’s a time to work, and there’s a time to enjoy the blessings around us. And sometimes we need to remember that both have a place in our lives. So this Saturday, take a little time for something that makes your heart happy! ☕ Sit on the porch with your coffee. 🌷 Enjoy the morning sunshine. 🎶 Turn on some good old-fashioned gospel music. 💕 Call somebody who makes you laugh. 🥞 Make a big Saturday breakfast and actually sit down to enjoy it! And if you feel like spending the morning in your pajamas, well, Sisters, I won’t tell anybody! 😂 Because life isn’t just about everything we accomplish. It’s also about the moments we take time to enjoy. 🌸 TODAY’S SATURDAY CHALLENGE: Before you get completely wrapped up in your to-do list, do ONE little thing just because it brings you joy! No guilt. No rushing. No thinking about the next chore. Just enjoy it and thank God for the opportunity! 👇 NOW LET’S TALK, SISTERS!
