There are actually many theories of dreams but a common one is your brain is not making the dream but receiving signals to turn it into something understandable. I just woken up, I remember my dream being me trying comfort my friend who is in their favorite character form, I tap my hand onto their shoulder like how my dad and my mom does to me when I'm sad, now I remember what their are wearing which is a suit, I somehow can feel the texture of the suit and it kinda impressed me on how dream could be so real, and I find this dream very weirdly comfy like I'm a father comforting my child.
