What I am in for is the FMCSA demanding that when a driver sits for more than two hours to load or unload that that driver is given a check at the end of his/her pickup or delivery in the amount of three hundred dollars per hour. You do that and everything else will make sense.

Just do like Canada u have 14 hrs do watever u want no extension on hrs for any reason unless emergency to get off road due to accident or weather closures

Split sleeper birth has been a thing for years. I use it all the time and never been questioned by the DOT.

It already stops after 2 hours off duty or sleeper some elogs you have to manually turn this on in the settings it’s called a split
