dentist here: pregnancy itself doesn't actually weaken your enamel, but frequent morning sickness exposes your teeth to stomach acid, which causes enamel erosion. this is why i always tell patients to pay attention to toothpaste ingredients. hydroxyapatite can support enamel remineralization and help defend against acid wear. definitely something worth knowing!

girl I feel this in my soul I literally couldn’t brush my teeth without throwing up until my sister got me that kugig toothpaste. No harsh mint, no crazy foam. It honestly saved my 1st trimester.

if you're worried about enamel erosion, you might wanna look into this!! my teeth felt so sensitive after dealing with morning sickness, so i've been paying a lot more attention to the ingredients in my toothpaste lately
