Why does a country call itself a global superpower while having so many problems with gun violence? Why do so many people, including children, have access to guns? Why can’t children feel safe anymore, even at school? How can a country have so much wealth, technology, and military power while parents are still afraid to send their children to school because of gun violence? It’s a serious contradiction between a country’s power and the safety of its people.
