we also get a visit from the Switch Witch. my son can choose to trade some or all of his candy for a cool toy or prize. the Switch Witch traded him a $20 for his haul from last night's trunk or treat. he is 7 so he is now rich.

This has been our hack every year! We do homemade costumes every year and they’re so much work. They get their moneys worth by wearing them several times and showing them off. All that candy is given out on Halloween plus we buy a few bags still. Then the candy they get for Halloween they also give away bc we don’t eat candy like that. Still get the experience tho!
