Flan I think dupes are made to fix a problem of an original frags.. either to fix its high price, performance or adding a twist to make it better. So I do understand your point but also a lot of ppl cant afford ogs so yeah just wanted to say my thoughts

Well I don’t agree with companies selling fragrance for $300+ when it cost them Total $10-15 to make it. Easy example is creed Aventus or Sospiro Vibrato. Great smells, not worth $200-$500 though

I go by a 4 month rule when considering dupes. If it’s still being talked about over 4 months post release (Afnan Supremacy Collectors, Liquid Brun, Hawas Ice) then I’ll consider getting. Most of these dupes come and go within a month and are never spoken about again because they suck

I am in a long term rehab. I have been clean now for 4yrs. I make $130 a month while being here. I have a collection of 80 bottles. Most of them being dupes. I do have a few small designer bottles. I would love to be able to buy some niche and designer bottles. My wish list is huge. Right now at this stage in my life I buy what I can afford. I absolutely love fragrances and the way they can bring a smile to my face no matter what I am going through or how I am feeling. It makes me happy and that’s all that matters.

Personally I love dupes, I always want value for money, and buying them I feel like I get that. Even if I had the money, I would never pay stupid amount that these companies change.
