literally is my little sister. my kids r getting older and she wants me to trick or treating with her and her small children. i have only handed candy out at my house once. my kids can finally go off on their own. I want to hand out candy at my house. but I am the bad sister if I don't comply to her plans for me.

I have a one year old and since he’s been born my mil just expects us to spend halloween at her house?? I’m so confused? Since when is Halloween an extended family event? I never spent Halloween anywhere but in my own neighborhood. Same with my husband. So I literally just don’t understand this phenomenon 😭😭

I went hiking in a national park, last summer. My mom got sad and angry that I didn't ask her to come with me to a different national park that she wanted to go to that she had never mentioned, even though I had been telling her about my plans for months. Like, what?!? 😂

Halloween surprises me now. In the late 80s early 90s when I was a kid I don't remember ever seeing my grandparents. It's crazy how many people I know who have to plan around grandparents for it.

My mom this year 😅 my son is 10 and my ex, and I do 50/50 and he has had him almost every Halloween since we split. My ex would always still come to my parents house to do Halloween(we were together for 10 years). This year they were still going to but a friend is having a party and guess who got ticked ?!! I told her we would still come to their house with our daughter for an hour or so then go meet my son to all go and she told me not to bother making an extra trip 🤣 She can't get over him now wanting to go with friends instead of his cousins now !
