Creamy Baked Three Cheese Mac & Cheese w/ @SUSTEAS US cheese grater ❤️ Ingredients: - 1 lb elbow pasta - 4 tbsp unsalted butter - 3 tbsp all-purpose flour - 3 cups whole milk - 1 cup heavy cream - 1lb sharp cheddar - 1lb mozzarella - 1lb Colby jack - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1 tsp onion powder - 1/2 tsp paprika - 1/2 tsp black pepper - 1/2 tsp salt Bake in a 13x9” baking pan at 350 F for 18-20 minutes & broil for 2-3 minutes Instructions: For the cheese, we want to grate by hand, I’m using this rotary cheese shredder from SUSTEAS. It comes with 6 interchangeable blades and a strong suction, it makes shredding all three cheeses so much quicker and easier. Plus, freshly shredded cheese melts beautifully into the sauce. I’m using sharp cheddar, mozzarella, and Colby Jack for the ultimate cheesy combination. Set aside 3 1/2 cups to 4 cups of the cheese for the topping. Cook your elbow pasta in salted water. Since we're baking it afterward, we don't want to overcook the pasta at this stage. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat, then whisk in the flour. Cook for about a minute to get rid of that raw flour taste. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Gradually pour in the milk and heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Let the sauce cook until it thickens slightly, stirring occasionally. You want it thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Lower the heat and gradually add the freshly shredded cheese. Stir until everything is melted and smooth. The cheddar brings that sharp flavor, mozzarella gives us extra stretch, and Colby Jack adds a nice creamy balance. Add the cooked pasta and mix until every piece is coated in that cheese sauce. Transfer everything into a 13-by-9-inch baking dish and sprinkle the rest of the cheese and bake at 350°F for 18 to 20 minutes. Finish under the broiler for another 2 to 3 minutes, just until the top is golden and bubbly. #macandcheese #cheese #food #EasyRecipe #DinnerIdeas
