I quit a job I really wanted to remain at. I loved the customers and I was very gifted by God, & more qualified to manage many of the business dynamics than the owner. She was arrogant and over confident. I would show up and always do more than asked. While at work she would repeatedly send me messages to do tasks throughout the day. I would complete them and let her know at the end of the day, on my own time, a summary of sales, completed tasks, and things that needed to be addressed. She would put things in the store for sale with no price. If I inquired she wouldn’t respond. If I made an executive decision to sell it for what I thought, she would immediately question me. She would leave huge messes and say could you go in early and clean up.I would pick up her mess and do what ever needed to be done. Her husband managed payroll and would send texts for me to promote his real estate company. I could go on and on but I ended up respectfully walking away after she was dishonest about numerous things to avoid accountability. I find it sad that those given much, do not use it for good. They use it to disguise good for bad and it seems as though they continue to flourish and deceive. But God, God sees it all and just because people thrive in the world doesn’t mean they are thriving in the kingdom. I live in a small town and it is very humbling to watch this and stand on my truth. I don’t need to defend myself, God will use it all to bring glory to Him. I don’t hope for them to fail, I pray Gods face shines upon them and humbles them into His purpose.
