I dont know if its because I'm neuro spicy but I never lied for him. I told people what he was doing, asked for help, but heard I should have known what I choose. I got a chuckle from him mom "OH just like his father " What?!?! if my son's gf or wife came to me saying anything like that, I would be saying something to my son, and support her any way I could. But I will make sure he doesn't turn out like that and become someone's abuser.

spent almost 25 years doing that. when I was finally able to serve him with divorce papers everyone was shocked. I had so many people say they were jealous of our marriage and wished theirs was like mine. but when they found out what actually went on behind closed doors they were surprised. then came the why did you stay? they had no idea how hard he made it for us to leave.

I did that too to strangers, but I wonder why? Is that because the narcissist is a completely different person to the outside world? I did always tell the truth to My family and friends, that I was unhappy and what strange behavior he showed.
