@nivorix.extremeplanet: Fire Tornado: The Wildfire That Made Its Own Weather Some wildfires burn so hot they create their own thunderstorm — and inside it, the air begins to rotate. The result is a fire tornado: a spinning column of flame hundreds of feet tall. The strongest ever recorded struck California's 2018 Carr Fire at 143 mph, as strong as an EF-3 tornado. This video is an AI dramatization of that real event. #shorts #firetornado #nature #wildfire #tornado

Extreme Planet :
The Carr Fire's fire tornado formed only after its own smoke plume grew from four to eight miles high in just 15 minutes — the fire was so hot it birthed its own thunderstorm cloud, a pyrocumulonimbus. That's the line between the small fire whirls that happen in most big wildfires and a true firenado: the fire literally started making its own weather.
