Girl you need to keep some nuts, crackers, or something in your purse. Choking is so scary. I had to do the heimlich on my mother once and thankfully someone stepped into help me. It was the scariest moment of my life. I am glad you are ok.

I did that once. I also live alone. Mine was popcorn. I literally had my hand on the door knob to head over to the neighbors. I managed to gag it up. Scary stuff.

I got a piece of meat stuck in the middle of my throat one evening. Wasn’t choking, but couldn’t swallow it and it was very painful and I started stressing. I understand completely! Glad you’re here to talk about it.

I did that one. It only took one time I bought one of those guards that you can put over your mouth and pull out what you’re choking on. I have long issues so I couldn’t necessarily cough it up.
