This is one reason why subsidy on petrol is a bad idea because the Nigeria government will be subsidizing petrol for all the neighbourung African countries since they all depend on Nigeria for fuel. They buy from Nigeria at subsidized rate and go and sell in their countries at high rate. The Nigerian government is left with the burden of subsidy.
