@drdavidabbasi: Ever wonder why a needle goes in at different angles? 🤔 The angle depends on where the medicine needs to go. 👇 💪 Intramuscular (IM): 90 degrees, straight into the muscle 🔹 Subcutaneous (SC): usually 45 or 90 degrees, into the fatty layer under the skin 🩸 Intravenous (IV): about 15 to 30 degrees, into a vein 🔸 Intradermal (ID): about 5 to 15 degrees, just under the top layer of skin Each route has its own purpose, technique, and site, and the right choice depends on the medicine and the patient. 🩺 Please don’t try this at home. Injections should be given by trained professionals who follow clinical guidelines and the medication’s instructions. This is general education, not medical advice. 🙏 Which one are you most curious about? Tell me below 👇 In South Florida? See Dr. Abbasi in Delray Beach.
