honestly this would likely make me stop playing or get burnt out faster. i hated losing side quests, and ive been wanting more agent stories, but if all i have to do is grind da/sd then ill just play something else. anyone else feel that way?

We’re missing massive character development and just knowing more about that character and I fear one of the biggest character impacted by this is nangong

Agent story of Seed completely changed my mind about her. Thought she was a quirky girl, but she held a lot of complex emotions we wouldn't have known without her agent story. I really hope they do a better job of relaying their stories through plot.

While I do lament the loss of the agent stories, I think for the most part we're get "agent stories" as part of the events now. Through them we learned more about Yihari, Sunna, and Norma. Ya, not everyone every time but that was the same with agent stories to, not everyone and not every time. I know, for example, a lot of people felt like we didn't get a lot of Nangong, but her story was sprinkled everywhere, and I think it was a choice not to give everything away. we've been learning about Severian here and there since 2.6. Phoenix...I don't think she all that complicated. About all that lacks was maybe how her being a Sacrifice worked out but otherwise she feels complete.

if they slowed down on main story and characters they could have say like "filler" chapters with a rerun of a character with their agent story to flesh them out more.

Dude , agent stories are NEEDED to help us invest in this game . Season 1 showed so much potential & now into season 3, they don’t offer as much .

they didn't say they were discontinuing agent stories they said they were not Gonna do special episodes (like the Jane and Yanagi focus chapters) as much anymore.

Or they’re new purpose now is to only deliver small narration to a main plot point that i feel like they could end up discovering themselves, rather than actual characters with a story and personality. You see that especially in the 3.2 storyline, instead of us learning more about the flint family and claret’s blood or a more developed personality outside being a tsundere who shared weird moments with a distanc cousin, she only delivers us lore drops and narrations then is forgotten the next season

I knew something changed when nangong came out. sunna and aria got major backstory and nangong was just the "rich lucky leader of aod......oh and she has back scars...we won't say anything about it"
