It's not a crime to interpret for someone who is voting. U.S. law allows people to receive language assistance when voting. It's not illegal.

Hmmm… 8 USC Code 1423… No person unless provided in this subchapter shall be naturalized as a citizen who cannot demonstrate an understanding of the English language including the ability to read, write and speak ordinary usage in the English language. It makes zero sense to have translators except in special cases provided in the law. Next
