It's the full remission of the temporal punishment due to sin that's already been forgiven. When you offer it for someone who has died, you're helping their purification in purgatory be completed. Who can I offer it for?
This one can only be applied to the faithful departed, so you can't gain it for yourself or for someone who's still living. You're free to offer it for a specific person, like a grandparent or friend, and you can also offer it for whichever soul needs it most. How often can I get one?
Once a day. If you visit a cemetery every day from Nov 1 to 8, that's eight souls you can help. What counts as visiting a cemetery?
Any cemetery works. Walk through or stop at a grave, and pray for the dead while you're there. Even a silent, simple prayer counts. What about the conditions?
🕊️ Confession: within about 20 days before or after. One confession can cover all eight days.
🕊️ Communion: you'll need to receive once for each indulgence, so daily Mass this week is a beautiful option.
🕊️ Prayer for the Pope's intentions: an Our Father and a Hail Mary is enough.
🕊️ Detachment from all sin, including venial sin: if you can't quite get there, the indulgence becomes partial, which still helps. I can't make it to a cemetery. Is there another way?
On Nov 2, you can visit any church or oratory and pray an Our Father and the Creed, with the same conditions. Save this so you have it all week, and send it to the person you're bringing with you 🤍 #catholic #halloween #christian #hallowtide

John 14:6 Jesus says I am the way the truth and the life, no one can come to the father except through me. So you telling people they can help get people to heaven is blasphemy.
