@collegesportsonly: Philips Rivers might soon be returning to NC State. 🐺 The Wolfpack legend is reportedly the leading candidate to be the program’s next head coach after the firing of Dave Doeren. Rivers is currently the head coach of St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope, AL. His son, Gunner, is the starting QB there and a 4-star recruit who is currently committed to NC State for the Class of 2027. Gunner is just 1 of Philip’s TEN kids, meaning we could soon have an assembly line of Rivers children in Raleigh. Would this be a good hire by NC State or the ACC’s version of Deion Sanders? 🤔⬇️ #CollegeFootball #cfb #football #nfl #ncstate
