@hotnew73: Jeff Kober Wins a Daytime Emmy for General Hospital After Making History With Two Emmy Nominations This Year Jeff Kober just added another Daytime Emmy to his collection. On Friday, Oct. 30, the actor, 72, won Outstanding Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama Series. He won for playing Cyrus Renault on General Hospital. He was not there to accept the award. Kober first joined the ABC soap in 2020. His character was a dangerous criminal whose arrival in Port Charles brought trouble for Sonny Corinthos and other residents. He returned in a dream sequence in December 2025. This is not his first win for the role. Kober won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2022. He was nominated in the same category in 2021. This year, he made history in another way. He became the first actor to earn both Primetime and Daytime Emmy nominations in the same calendar year. The Primetime nod was for his work on The Pitt. He beat out four other nominees. They were Jasmine Burke, Eva LaRue, Christopher Sean and Ray Wise.
