I’ve asked a lot of people who have taken their hijab off and asked if it was worth it very judgement free. And all of them said no and that they feel empty inside. Bc they kept looking for validation of others and that stuff only lasts a couple days

The girls who had the choice in the first place to put it on are so lucky 😭 I never had that and have been wearing it since childhood. Often, I sit and think deeply about if I’m wearing it for the right reasons. I truly have no idea if i keep it on bc I’m scared of what others will think if I don’t wear it. Keep me in ur duas guys 😔

i used to wear it for 9 years (12-21) and i took it off and im almost 26. i used to judge people too when i was a hijabi. but yk what they say, someone’s struggle today can be yours tomorrow 🥰

As someone whos also been through it with the hijab, the want to take it off never goes away!!! This isnt to scare you but the desire to want to be "free" is the most human thing you could feel. Dont let something as temporary as this dunya let you go from something that brings you peace and safety in the long term.

Thank you, truly, the thought is constantly there especially because of all the doors my hijab closes for me but there is something that does not let me take it off I don’t know what but I like to think it’s Allah and then there is woman’s like you that point out the obvious and make us feel better, our society deliberately suppresses our personalities because we put on the hijab so its harsh to see nothing is excusable for us but everything is for mans you right our anger should be token on the patriarchy not towards ourselves jazaki Allah kheiran
