I get so irritated going to my local family doctor because I’ve said countless times and it’s ON RECORD I have health anxiety but every time I’m there for a cold or check up he always says “idkkkk your heart rates a little high are you sure you don’t want some heart meds?” IM ALREADY TERRIFIED OF LOOKING AT YOU PLEASE SHUT UP

Nurse here and same! Im driving to the appointment and i can already feel my crazy body reacting. My pulse which is normally 75-85 shoots up to 120s with a bp easily in the 170/90s. Then because my vitals are elevated they always keep me there longer which increases my anxiety. Ask me how i know i am anxious and don’t have a problem. Just let ‘e go home please because I hate it here.
