@bbcnews: People evacuated from the devastated Russian-occupied city of Oleshky have crossed into the Ukrainian region of Chernihiv, after US First Lady Melania Trump brokered a local ceasefire that paved the way for their evacuation. #Ukraine #Russia #BBCNews

Resistance :

Yall, its propaganda. The US first lady has little to no diplomatic authority. What little she does have is purely symbolic. This was a propaganda ploy between D Trump and Putin to put her name on something humanitarian right before our US midterm elections. If they didn't need the optics and it wasn't about to be an election, those people would still be in the predicament they were in and nothing would have been done.

This war has to stop! Have we learnt nothing. The videos I’ve seen of Russians torturing civilians and Ukrainian soldiers is unspeakable. Nothing is gained from this but death and destruction.
