I don’t know about babies but boo from monsters inc - to make her laugh they would attach a mic to her and chase her around the studio, to make her cry they would give her sweets and then take them away from her 😂

I think there's a adult behind thescene who is pretending to be sad and cry so the baby then becomes sad as babys mimic others around it to be sad to make them happy the actor behind the scenes laugh and plays with the baby to make it happy again
