Sometimes, being dependable starts to feel like you aren't allowed to be tired. Like everyone else can have a hard day, but you still need to hold everything together. And maybe you've gotten so used to carrying the weight that you don't even notice how heavy it's become. But I want to share a reminder I've been thinking about this Sunday. You were never meant to carry every burden alone. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus invites those who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. Not just the people who have everything figured out. Not just the people who have handled every responsibility perfectly. The weary. The burdened. The ones who need rest. And I love that His invitation isn't another demand to do more. It's an invitation to come to Him. That doesn't mean our responsibilities disappear. Or that every difficult situation is immediately resolved. But it does mean we can bring our worries, our exhaustion, and our uncertainty to the One who cares for us. Maybe this Sunday, you don't need another plan. Maybe you need a quiet moment with God. A chance to pray. A chance to open His Word. A chance to stop believing that everything depends on your ability to hold it all together. You can be responsible without carrying the weight of the whole world. You can care deeply and still need rest. You can be strong and still ask for help.
