Everyone just needs to accept nothing can save you from cheating. There is no formula and we don’t have control over people. All you can do is experience life and always love yourself in case you need to leave when betrayed. Whether 2 or 20 years in a relationship

When is everyone going to realize that they cheat in any and all circumstances when they want to. Religion, Nerdy, obsessed w/ you, good dad, autistic, it does not matter. If they want to, they will.

That wasn't even true though? A man who loves his wife that much doesn't patronize or insult her in front of other people and he did so regularly.

It happened because of the degradation of his character and morals over time. You have to chose your values through life to grow in the right direction

We cannot control whether someone chooses to stay faithful, no matter how many years we give them. The only real security is loving yourself enough to walk away if they don't.

So as someone who has watched them since early YouTube days … I’m not sure why people got that impression he was a wife guy. I would have NEVER described him like that.

All of this is so triggering for me. My husband of 16 years cheated with a coworker in her 20s. Ran off with her. They’re engaged now. Once upon a time, he loved me but I always had to guide him morally. Lesson: find a man who has his own morals.

Maybe there’s no perfect recipe for finding “the right man/the good guy”. No dynamic will save you from someone’s actions. They can be the best thing that’s ever happened to you and still betray you. Maybe we just need to accept the fact that we can’t control other people no matter how hard we try to choose “better”. Sometimes you just never know, relationships are always a risk.

He always talked about how much he loved everything she did for him. He barely ever talked about what he loved about her as a person. It was always about the success and opportunities she afforded him.

trying to prevent cheating and make a relationship last forever is like swimming against the current. just let go and allow things to die when they die

"loves the wife more" is performance some men engage in out of insecurity, and insecure men will have great difficulty being faithful in anything
