@opabc.app: Stop flipping every Trigger. Part 17 of OPTCG Basics. When a Life card with a Trigger comes up, you choose. Flip it: you show it, use the effect, and the card goes to your trash. Keep it: it goes into your hand face down, and your opponent never learns what it was. Flip when the effect beats the card. Charlotte Oven plays itself for free, and Charlotte Brulee rests a Character that hasn't attacked yet, so it can't swing this turn. Keep when the effect is weak or has nothing to hit. Caribou's Trigger needs a Character with a cost of 5 or less on their side. Without one, it does nothing and Caribou is gone. A Whitebeard event's +1000 is worth less than the search it does from your hand. Your Life card is Charlotte Daifuku: a free 4000 Character, or a +2000 counter in your hand.
