Gabby :
I used to go into catatonic episodes a couple of times a week, history of bipolar disorder. It used to happen when I took Oxcarbazepine, lessened with a switch to Lamictal and totally resolved with a switch to Vraylar. In the moment, Xanax would lessen the duration of the episode but someone else would have to administer it because of the stupor :( a very scary experience

I know, I know. I had catatonia. Guess what caused it ? Being overdosed with 2 different types of antipsychotics by a psychiatrist who I believe was attempting to unalive me and was using me for her own personal entertainment. The antipsychotics were fluphenazine and thioridazine. Using these 2 together is from my personal view point is extremely dangerous and causes extreme serious side and withdrawal effects. I can attest that these 2 drugs given together at ridiculously high dosages causes catatonia. I believe psychiatrists enjoy watching their patients go through hell.
