In my opinion it’s basically like if Steph curry gets fouled and has to take free throws. Yea he’s 90%+ so why even make him realistically shoot them but everyone misses one here and there(yes obviously I know you can’t give someone a free throw)

To me it all depends on where in the match you are. Early holes give it all day. But late in the match the gimme circle gets smaller and smaller

When I played competitively a lifetime ago, I just assumed I was putting everything out under match play. Used to drive my opponents nuts when i immediately went and lined up the following putt as they were always looking to get that kind of reaction. And that was for a $10 trophy - if I even made it to the final pairing. This is for a 7 figure payout.

I won’t allow people to give my putts. I’ve missed them from 2 a lot. I don’t think 99% of people handicaps are legit based on this one statistic.

I don’t understand how they give any putts in a TOURNAMENT WORTH 4 MILLION DOLLARS! Unless you’ve already lost the hole then no one should be picking up a ball before it’s in the cup. You never know what can happen even on a 3ft putt which we all just saw
