Being available to everyone may be costing you your own life. DAY 57 | THERE ARE THINGS YOU MUST STOP BEING AVAILABLE FOR. Not everything that can reach you deserves access to you. Not every request deserves an immediate yes. Not every problem requires your intervention. Not every person needs access to your time, energy, emotions or resources. And being a good woman does not require you to be endlessly available. Maybe you've become the woman everyone calls. The woman who solves it. The woman who listens. The woman who comes running. The woman who says: “It's okay. I'll handle it.” But ask yourself: What is your availability costing you? Your sleep? Your health? Your marriage? Your creativity? Your work? Your peace? Your relationship with God? Your own dreams? Sometimes the problem isn't that you're giving too much. It's that everything has unrestricted access to you. So today, ask: What am I still available for that the woman I am becoming can no longer afford? And don't create ten boundaries. Choose one. One thing you will stop automatically saying yes to. One conversation you no longer need to enter. One problem you will stop rescuing someone from. One area where you will reclaim your attention. Because: Your availability is not proof of your goodness. You can love people without carrying everything for them. You can be generous without being endlessly accessible. You can care without abandoning yourself.
