But this celebration is about so much more than costumes and entertainment. Día de los Muertos is a beautiful Mexican tradition honoring the lives, memories, and legacies of loved ones who have passed away. It’s a celebration of family, remembrance, culture, and the connections that remain with us. And today, our community gets to experience those traditions together! ❤️ HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN ENJOY: 🌼 Traditional ofrendas honoring loved ones 🎺 Live Mariachi music 💃 Ballet Folklórico performances 🕺 FREE dance lessons 🎨 Kids’ activities and face painting 🪅 Traditional piñatas 💀 Costume contests for kids, adults, and pets 🌮 Delicious Mexican food and treats 🛍️ Local artisans, vendors, and small businesses 🎬 PLUS, DISNEY-PIXAR’S COCO! They also bring families and visitors into our historic downtown, creating opportunities for our restaurants, shops, artists, and local businesses. I’d love to see more cultural celebrations and family-friendly events become annual traditions in Oroville! A HUGE thank you to By Grace Atelier, the Oroville State Theater, Union, and everyone helping bring this celebration to life! 👇 OROVILLE, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! Are you attending today’s festival?
