All of your interior lights are on 12 volt. Fridge, microwave, roof air-conditioning and outlets are on 110.

In any rv I have ever used or worked on, when plugged into shore power, the electric system in the rv should automatically start charging the battery while simultaneously providing you with all the other power you need in the rv.

Being hooked to power is what charges your battery. If your battery is running low quickly, you may need new batteries.

Yes, that is your main breaker. It turns it off turns all the power off that's what you push when you would store your motorhome and not be in it. You would turn everything off. Hope that helps.

Why would you want to do this? If you’re plugged your batteries are charging.

Don't shut the shore tie off. Your batteries will not charge.

Any time you're in the RV keep the power on. When driving the plug has to be plugged into the rv so the system charges the batteries while you drive, when on shore power the same is true except the power is then plugged into a power source.... which keeps your batteries charged. You should hear your converter kick on which is cycling to those batteries when you first turn the power on. One of my first lessons when I first started traveling solo for work. I actually fried my converter before I learned this.

My sister and I are thinking about getting a motorhome or two and retiring in them. I think it will be so much fun to travel and live out of a motorhome ♥️
