It's actually better for the environment to continue wearing the leather, wool, etc. clothing items you already had in your wardrobe than to get rid of them and get new ones immediately! I agree

I will never go out of my way to buy vegan leather if I already had leather. The only ethical thing that comes out out of the meat industry is the clothing. Its a byproduct sure, But vegan leather causes more animals to die because of the air pollution, mass deforestation, and it's only called "Vegan leather" to make you THINK it's ethical because oil industries know that saying something is ethical is how they get more people to give them money to drill into the Earth and kill all of us slowly

Hi! So I had a question about wool. Why do vegans avoid it? I get leather because you have to kill an animal to get the leather, but sheep HAVE to get shaved or otherwise it can really get uncomfortable for them and they will get very matted.

I don’t understand why get rid of it if you already have it? You still purchased it getting rid of it doesn’t undo that. Actually making it have a purpose instead of it sitting in a landfill seems better.
