Oh honey child …. I’m a boomer , I’ve worked my tail off my whole life !! Sometimes 2 Jobs while going to school at night part time while my husband was disabled due to 2 back surgeries with spinal fusion & metal rods from a coal mine explosion in Ky . Our babies were 10, 3 & 1. Neither of us have ever had it made !!! It’s been a hard life but an honest one & we have done without so our babies could have better !! My parents were boomers and my dad was a janitor at my school and part time emt. My mom was a waitress. It may have been for some but not all. We drove used cars, a small house, and never went out to eat. We had a tent and that was our vacations.
