Savannah Chrisley Speaks Out After Backlash Over Her Secret Marriage and Pregnancy Savannah Chrisley is responding to the backlash after a week of big announcements. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, the 29-year-old Chrisley Knows Best star revealed she is engaged and expecting her first child with businessman Jason Galanis, 56. Then, on Oct. 29, PEOPLE confirmed they had already married. Marriage records show they wed in the Cayman Islands on July 14. Galanis was sentenced to 189 months in prison in September 2020 for multiple securities fr*ud schemes. President Trump commuted that sentence in March 2025. Savannah’s parents were also pardoned. On Saturday, Oct. 31, Savannah posted a long message on Instagram Stories. She tagged her location as the Mar-a-Lago Club. She wrote that people “can be quick to judge, quick to condemn, and slow to show grace.” She also wrote that you “don’t have to defend what God has already ordained.” She ended with a Bible verse and the line “LOVE ALWAYS WINS.” Earlier in the week, she addressed her baby directly. “You are not a headline. You are not a controversy,” she wrote. She said she will never apologize for celebrating the child. She does have support at home.
