@dailywinz4you: 🥬❤️ GRANDMA'S SOUTHERN COLLARD GREENS! Baby, some recipes never go out of style! ❤️ My grandma used to make these delicious Southern collard greens, and let me tell you, friends and family ALWAYS came back for seconds! 😋 Tender collard greens simmered low and slow with a smoky turkey leg, flavorful vegetable broth, and plenty of love! Here's how Grandma made them! 👇🏽 🛒 INGREDIENTS: 🥬 2 lbs fresh collard greens 🍗 1 large smoked turkey leg 🥣 4 cups low-sodium vegetable broth 🧅 1 large onion, diced 🧄 4 garlic cloves, minced 🫒 1 tbsp olive oil 🍎 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 🌶️ 1 tsp smoked paprika 🧂 ½ tsp black pepper 🌶️ ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional) 🧂 Salt to taste 👩🏽‍🍳 LET'S GET COOKING! 1️⃣ Wash collard greens thoroughly. Remove tough stems and chop the leaves. 2️⃣ Heat olive oil in a large pot. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant. 3️⃣ Add the smoked turkey leg, vegetable broth, smoked paprika, and black pepper. 4️⃣ Cover and simmer for 45–60 minutes to develop that rich, smoky flavor. 5️⃣ Add the collard greens, stirring gently until they begin to soften. 6️⃣ Cover and simmer on low heat for another 45–60 minutes, or until the greens are tender. 7️⃣ Remove the smoked turkey leg. Separate the meat from the bone, shred it, and return it to the pot. 8️⃣ Stir in apple cider vinegar. Taste and adjust your seasonings. 9️⃣ Serve hot with a side of golden Southern cornbread! 😋 ❤️ THE SECRET INGREDIENT? A whole lot of LOVE! Grandma always knew that good food brings family and friends together. And remember, baby... ✨ "IF IT'S NOT DELICIOUS, WE'RE NOT DONE YET!" ✨ ❤️ Love, Latrella #Latrella #CollardGreens #SouthernCooking #SoulFood #dailywinz4you
