If you don’t decorate your house for halloween you WILL NOT get trick or treaters 😭 yall some pumpkins, some lights and boom youll have 100% more trick or treaters

I had the opposite problem. Ran out of candy in less than 2 hours. Had no idea how many kids come through my neighborhood on Halloween.

Meanwhile I felt like a creep putting up signs directing the kids in my complex (there is a lot of them) to the bowl at my door and it’s still hella full. 😭

this year was our first halloween the streets were filled with people we ran out of candy in 2 hours (probably had over 200 trick or treaters in that time) super excited to be more prepared for next year

This is also our first year in our new house but we both worked so I left a bowl of candy outside. Had one young child and then a group of teenagers who stole all the candy AND the bowl. This is the first and last year I’m putting out candy. So upsetting.
