@iphone.tips26: Many marketing emails carry tiny invisible images that tell the sender when and where you opened them. The Mail app can block this. Open Settings, tap Apps, then Mail. Tap Privacy Protection and check that Protect Mail Activity is on. It hides your IP address and loads remote content privately in the background, so senders can't see when you opened their email. Mail is covered now, but your other apps still carry trackers, so the last step is an app I built that blocks ads and trackers.
