I don’t get these comments, the value of the seat is gone once in the air, no one will be paying for it. It’s like they are throwing it away. I bought a cup cake but they are throwing away the cake, and why not switch, it’s going in the trash, just for the principal, y’all are why more companies are not doing too good to go, y’all would rather waste food and throw it away then devalue the food (which is trash)

So I bought this cubic zirconia ring and then I walked back into the store and I saw a diamond ring was still there. Nobody bought it. It was just sitting there so I asked the sales lady hey can I switch that ring out and she told me no. like what is wrong with her? That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of.

It’s not stupid. You can’t go in a restaurant at closing time and tell them you want a better steak because nobody ate them all during the normal dinner time, ask the guy at the gas station to let you pump some premium gas because there’s extra in the tank, when you’re paying for regular gas. They’re selling a product and you didn’t purchase the more expensive product.

Doesn’t matter that no one else is getting on the plane. Weight and balance is configured based on your seat assignments. Ask a pilot why it matters and he/she will enlighten you.

They will allow you to move within your zone but you cannot just move to upgraded seated with extra leg room. I’m sure everyone behind you would also love to do the same thing. The best thing you can do is check the seating chart an hour or two before flight and then upgrade to your seat of choice.
