I’m African but was born here with an American-ish name. My cousin Kofi was also born here. We went to the same school and I literally watched him get bullied and joked one way more than solely because of his name. Yes everyone gets bullied, but some identities and characteristics get clowned on way more. So no, he got bullied because he was African lol.
