@samalouisaa: Homemade concord grape juice 🍇 Made with real ingredients and shelf-stable for up to 18 months with just 15 mins of water bath canning! RECIPE ⬇️ Per jar, you’ll need: • 2 cups concord grapes • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup • Hot water (leave 1/4–1/2 inch headspace) 1️⃣ Wash jars, lids, and bands in hot, soapy water. Let air dry. 2️⃣ Wash and destem the grapes 3️⃣ Add grapes and pure maple syrup to the jars. 4️⃣ Pour in hot water, leaving 1/4-1/2 inch of headspace. The water level may drop as air escapes from the grapes and the fruit absorbs some liquid. Add more hot water as needed. 5️⃣ Wipe rims clean. Add lids and screw bands on finger-tight. 6️⃣ Bring canner water to a full rolling boil. 7️⃣ Place jars in the boiling water, ensuring they’re fully submerged with at least 1 inch of water covering the lids. 8️⃣ Process for 15 mins or longer, depending on your elevation. (I’m at 3,000+ ft and processed mine for 25 mins.) 9️⃣ Carefully remove jars and let cool undisturbed for 12–24 hours. 🔟 Check seals (the lids shouldn’t flex up and down) before storing in a cool, dark place for up to 18 NOTE: Best flavor develops after 2-4 weeks, but you can enjoy it sooner! Refrigerate after opening and enjoy within 7 days.
