@dailynoud: Travis Scott's brown Batman costume became one of the more talked-about celebrity Halloween looks after he posted it on Instagram on October 31, 2020. The 29-year-old shared a video in which he appeared first as Bruce Wayne in a brown suit, then walked to what he called his bat cave and changed into an all-brown Bat-suit, posing in front of two luxury cars that matched the outfit. The look appeared to be based on Michael Keaton's Batman from the 1992 film Batman Returns, and Travis captioned the post with a play on Wayne Enterprises and his Cactus Jack brand. Many users mocked the color choice online, comparing the costume to a cockroach, a flea and a UPS delivery driver. Travis deactivated his Instagram account, which had about 34 million followers, shortly afterward, though it was never confirmed that the backlash was the reason. The costume has since lived on as a meme, and other public figures have referenced it in their own Halloween looks in later years. Travis had a history of elaborate Halloween outfits before this one, including characters such as Iron Man and the Joker.
