@doubleo.yen.da: ALL SAINTS’ DAY Solemnity of All Saints • November 1 Observed annually on November 1st, the Solemnity of All Saints honors every faithful soul who has attained heavenly glory. Originating from the early Church custom of celebrating a shared feast for all martyrs and holy witnesses, the communion of saints serves as our ultimate heavenly patrons and intercessors on our earthly journey. The Traditional Prayer: Almighty and eternal God, by whose gift we are permitted to celebrate in one solemn festival the merits of all Your holy ones: bestow upon us, we beseech You, through the intercession of so many advocates, an abundance of Your mercy, that we may follow their virtuous footsteps on earth and share in their eternal joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. #Catholic #AllSaintsDay #Faith #Blessings #doubleOyenda
